Small Business Administration
According to the agency, the mission of the Small Business Administration (SBA) is “to maintain and strengthen the Nation’s economy by aiding, counseling, assisting, and protecting the interests of small businesses and by helping businesses and families recover from economic and other disasters.”
OSHA offers many resources designed specifically for smaller employers. This site provides access to the most popular materials for small businesses, from free on-site consultation to interactive computer software to technical information to easy-to-follow guides for specific OSHA standards.
If your business has been hit by a disaster, you can find financial help through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster recovery program. Its main aim is to provide an affordable, timely and assessable financial boost to small business owners in a declared disaster area. But the SBA disaster effort is not an immediate emergency relief program such as Red Cross assistance, temporary housing assistance.
