Green Tea
What exactly is the difference between green tea, and the comfortable black tea you are used to? Well, it all comes from the same plant (Camellia sinensis), but the difference is in the processing. Green tea is dried, but not fermented. The shorter processing gives green tea a lighter flavour than black tea.

By completing a very simple process it is possible to naturally remove the caffeine yourself. For about 45 seconds in hot water you should steep the tea, then pour off the liquid. Then add more hot water and for a second time pour off the liquid.

Normal Black tea undergoes a full fermentation process involving four steps - withering, rolling, fermenting, and firing (or drying). First, the plucked leaves are spread out to wither.
Green tea is often referred to as “unfermented” tea. The freshly picked leaves are allowed to dry, then are heat-treated to stop any fermentation (also referred to as oxidation).
There are three main varieties of tea – green, black, and oolong. The difference between the teas is in their processing. Green tea is made from unfermented leaves and reportedly contains the highest concentration of powerful antioxidants called polyphenols. Antioxidants are substances that scavenge free radicals — damaging compounds in the body that alter cells, tamper with DNA (genetic material), and even cause cell death.
Green tea and black tea, of course, are leaves from the same plant, but are processed differently. For black tea, the leaves are processed in such a way as to allow fermentation, resulting in the dark brown color. For green tea, the leaves are processed and dried in such a way as to avoid fermentation.
Normal Red tea is caffine free, green tea has some caffine but not as much as orange peko or black tea (the normal teas served i restaurants. Red tea is closer to an herbal tea than anything.
